Your passport will be returned to you by the Embassy approved courier service. To ensure that there are no delays with the delivery, you must register with courier at the time you schedule the appointment for your visa interview.
When do I register for the courier?
If your application is being processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy, you are required to register for the courier at the time you schedule the appointment for your visa interview through https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb. K-1 and K-3 visa applicants will also pay the fee at this time.
If your application is being processed by the National Visa Center, you are required to register for the courier service as soon once you receive your appointment letter.
I cannot remember from where I collect the passport.
If you sign into your account at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb and follow the instructions you will find the information you require.
Can I change my delivery address/opt for home delivery?
You can change your delivery address up until 8:00 pm the night before your visa interview. Home delivery is selected at the time you arrange to have your passport returned by courier. If you have arranged the delivery and have selected a depot, you cannot then opt for home delivery.
Can I collect the documents in person?
No. The documents are returned by the approved courier service.
Can I send my passport by Royal Mail or another courier?
For security reasons, all documents should be submitted via the approved courier service. If you have been asked to submit your passport or any additional documents, you should log on to your account via https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb and print off a Courier-in Receipt.
