For the first time ever in the United Kingdom, the U.S. Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) have conducted a recovery operation to locate the remains of a U.S. airman who crashed here days before D-Day.
Said Ambassador Johnson: “We will always do everything we can to bring our heroes home.”
