The U.S. Embassy London is currently seeking quotations for the provision of a database to include Market Intelligence Data Sheets and Market Demand Forecasts for UK and Ireland, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Greece, Sweden, Italy, Czech Republic, Croatia, Turkey, Poland, Hungary and  Slovakia, including the impact of recent global events and market changes following the global pandemic. The data should:

  • be consolidated and presented in an interactive output based on excel to allow further extractions from the data;
  • include the following security technologies subgroups: Access Control and Identity Management, Command & Control, Communication Equipment, Data Analytics & Storage, Disaster Management, Fire Equipment, Managed Services, Personal Protection Gear, Risk Averse Security Services, Screening & Detection, Surveillance and Platforms; and

    include findings for future projections (to 10 years out) for the following end user sub-groups: Central Government, Infrastructure, First Responders, Border Security, Major Events Security, Critical National Infrastructure, and Transport Security.

Quotations should include lead time for provision of the full requirement and full cost, including and excluding VAT.

Only companies specializing in this field should provide a quotation.

Registration in SAM

System for Award Management

It is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” at www.sam.gov
The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers.

To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, it will have to be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither in obtaining the numbers, nor registering in SAM.

Interested parties are strongly encourage you to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder. Please note individuals are exempt from SAM registration.
