The American Embassy London requires Legal Advice Services in relation to UK pensions law regarding existing Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, including but not necessarily limited to:
- Workplace pensions & auto-enrolment
- Scheme documentation, Scheme Rules, consolidations & amendments
- Member communications and employer pension consultation exercises
- Scheme funding and covenant issues
- Liability management and reduction exercises
As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity-type (IDIQ) contract for a Base Year plus a potential two Option Years to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. Option years will be exercisable at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. Only companies specializing in this field should respond to the solicitation.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
Please contact LondonGSOCO@state.gov before 17:00 local time on December 22, 2022 in order to receive an invitation to the pre-proposal conference. The conference will be held at the U.S. Embassy, 33 Nine Elms Lane, London SW11 7US on January 10, 2023 at 14:00. Quotations are due by 17:00 Local Time (GMT) on January 24, 2023. The Embassy will not accept any quotations after this time. Quotations must be in English and we cannot accept any incomplete quotations.
You should submit your quotation electronically to the Contracting Officer at LondonGSOCO@state.gov. Please make your submission in pdf file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 30MB, you should make your submission in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each.

Registration in SAM
It is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” at www.sam.gov
The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers.
To register in SAM, you will need a NCAGE code. Obtaining the numbers and registering in SAM are free.
Interested parties are strongly encourage you to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder. Please note individuals are exempt from SAM registration.
