The American Embassy London acting on behalf of the US Consulate General in Hamilton, Bermuda has a requirement for Landscaping services at the Consul General’s residence in Bermuda. Services will include, but not be limited to lawn care, pruning, removal of debris, watering, fertilizing and pest and disease control.
Only companies specializing in this field should apply for a solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The request for quote (RFQ) documents will be issued once this advert has closed. The release date of the documents is anticipated to be June 7, 2022. Registration in SAM
It is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” at www.sam.gov
The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers.
To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, it will have to be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither in obtaining the numbers, nor registering in SAM.
Interested parties are strongly encourage you to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder. Please note individuals are exempt from SAM registration.
