Do you have questions about how you can vote in the U.S. election from the United Kingdom? If so, please join us for a Facebook Live Q&A, hosted by the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), on August 27, 2020 at 2 p.m..
If this election will be your first time voting from abroad, we will answer all your questions about voting in a U.S. election from outside of the United States. Even if you have voted from abroad before, the Q&A will still include relevant information for you.
For example, did you know most states require overseas citizens to complete the Federal Post Card Application every year? So don’t forget to fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to make sure you are registered to vote in this year’s election.
You can visit the FVAP website and click on your state for important and helpful information, including deadlines and contact information for every local election office in your state.
Our Facebook Live Q&A will provide more useful tips and reminders for U.S. citizens voting from the United Kingdom. So don’t forget to tune in on August 27, 2020 at 2 p.m.!
