The U.S. Embassy London intends to issue a solicitation (RFQ = Request for Quote) for a perimeter fence repair and timber treatment to a Government property situated within Belfast. The anticipated magnitude of the contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

Please be advised that a site visit has been arranged for the 18th March 2020 at 10.00am.

The American Embassy London has a requirement on an ongoing basis for hotel rooms in the London area.

The hotels must be situated within Transport for London Zone 1

Hotels are required in both four and five star categories.

Lodging rooms in both star categories must include:

  • A private bathroom
  • Heating and air conditioning
  • Internet availability
  • An internal telephone
  • 24 hour room service

Hotels must be FEMA certified and ADA compliant

On-site leisure facilities such as a gym and a pool are desirable, but not essential.

Hotels able to offer such facilities should contact GSO Procurement at the following email address londonproc@state.gov with details of their property/properties, the facilities offered and a sample schedule of rates. The property will then be assessed as to its suitability for Government requirements. If deemed suitable, the property may be contacted for specific quotes in the future as the need for hotel rooms arises.

Is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management”. www.sam.gov The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, one has to be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither in obtaining the numbers, nor registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder.

The American Embassy London intends to issue a solicitation (RFP = Request for Proposal) for the above mentioned telecommunication services.

The Contractor will need to provide complete mobile telecommunication services on a 24 hours per day 365 days per year basis to the U.S. Government. Services provided shall include but not be limited to:

Mobile Telephone Equipment (i.e. standard cell phones and “smartphones”); Purchase of new unlocked standard cell phones and smartphones with or without SIM cards; Mobile voice and 4G data services for smartphones and mobile data devices; 5G data services when/where available; Mobile voice services for standard cell phones; Voice calls and SMS text messaging within the United Kingdom; voice calls and SMS text messaging when roaming internationally; International roaming data services; Voice Mail Data Services;  Calls to UK and International Directory enquiry numbers; Calls to other Premium Rate Services; 24 hour Customer service; Monthly detailed billing of calls/SMS/data usage; Ability for both Embassy administrators and cell service users to monitor voice and data usage.

The Contract will be for one base year and 2 optional years.
