The U.S. Embassy in London is located in our new facility in the Nine Elms area of Wandsworth. We moved into the area mid-January 2018 from our old building in Grosvenor Square. Access to the Embassy is easy with just 10 minutes easy walking from Vauxhall tube, bus and rail station.
At the U.S. Embassy in London, we have on-site facilities such as a restaurant, bar and gym. There are many opportunities to get to know your work colleagues socially e.g. through recreational activities (football, gym, cycling), themed parties, dances, movie nights, live music events and quizzes.
We offer multiple benefits to employees including a Performance Related Pay System, membership of a Pension Scheme as well as BUPA healthcare. Also available are an Employee Assistance Program and a Season Ticket loan system. Generous annual leave and sick leave entitlements are enhanced by years-in-service bonuses as well as paid public holidays – both UK and U.S. holidays.
The United States has a wider presence in the UK than just the U.S. Embassy in London.
We also advertise jobs at our Consulates in Belfast and Edinburgh and our Annex in Croughton; hence please note carefully each job’s locality. We also sometimes advertise jobs at other United States’ Missions around the world.
