DS-160 & Uploading a Photograph

Applicants have reported that they are experiencing problems when uploading a photograph to the DS-160.

The confirmation photo page indicates that they have not uploaded a photo, even though on the preceding page they have received the message that their photo has successfully been uploaded. If you are experiencing this issue, try the following steps:

  1. Record the Application Number
  2. Close the browser window
  3. Open a new browser window
  4. Retrieve the application and try again.
