According to Metropolitan Police, planned demonstrations are expected to take place on Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28, between 1200-1700 local time at the U.S. Embassy in London located at 33 Nine Elms Lane, SW11 7US and within central London. U.S. citizens are always advised to avoid areas of demonstrations if possible and be careful within the vicinity of demonstrations. Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate to violence. Do not attempt to drive or walk through a demonstration. If you do find yourself caught in one, keep your windows up, doors locked and avoid panicking.

Demonstration: Palestine Solidarity Campaign calling for ceasefire.
Location: Starting from Victoria Embankment and ending at Parliament Square.
Number of participants: 100,000+.
Date: Friday, October 27, 2023
Time: 1300-1700 hours
Demonstration: Mekete Tigray UK urging the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement.
Location: U.S. Embassy London – 33 Nine Elms Lane, SW11 7US
Number of participants: Expected between 75-150 participants.
Embassy appointments for consular services will take place as scheduled on Friday, October 27.
Other events are expected to attract large crowds and typical locations include Trafalgar Square, Whitehall, Parliament Square, Westminster, and associated bridges.
