You must submit the exact fee amount.
Please disregard any fee amounts of expedite fees started on the application form you completed, as there is no expedite fee for U.S. passports in the UK.
The current fee is £91 or $110.
Applying by mail
By courier service, we ONLY accept the EXACT fee amount through a Postal Money Order or Bank Draft:
- Option 1: Postal Money Order (in U.S. dollars or pounds sterling) to the exact amount made payable to the “U.S. Disbursing Officer”
- Option 2: Bank Draft (in U.S. dollars or pounds sterling) to the exact amount made payable to the “U.S. Disbursing Officer”
We cannot accept cash (notes or coins), credit or debit cards for applications by mail.
We are also unable to accept:
- Electronic transfer
- Personal or company checks (cheques)
- SWIFT transfers
- IBAN transfers
- Certified checks
- Traveler’s checks
- Counter checks

Applying in person
If you are applying in person, you may pay using cash (U.S. dollars or pounds sterling) or by using a credit or debit card.
Remember: We are unable to accept these same payment types through mail. If you send us cash, a personal check, or credit/debit card information through the courier service, your case will be pending receipt of the correct payment type and face significant delays.
