Ambassador Johnson opens our panel discussion on Women in STEM fields, 07 March 2019

For International Women’s Day Ambassador Johnson opened our #WomenInSTEM discussion speaking about the importance of encouraging more women into the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) sector and the value they add to the industry as a whole.

Leading our panel debate were: Dr Sheila Kanani (@SaturnSheila), Sham Musthapha, Suzie Imber (@SuzieImberSpace),  Yasmina McCarty (@YasminaMcCarty), Merritt Moore (@physicsonpointe).

The panelists shared their personal experiences of working in the field and opened up a great discussion about what we can all do to encourage more women into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Opening the debate, Ambassador Johnson said:

“We’ll only unlock the FULL potential of our global economy when we champion advancement of women across all industries, including STEM.”
